Building Native Communities: Financial Skills for Families
Building Native Communities: Financial Skills for Families is a personal financial literacy curriculum developed by the Fannie Mae Foundation and First Nations Development Institute. Whether you want to start a business, buy a home or pay off your debt, personal financial literacy is a first step to gaining control over your financial future. Curriculum modules include:
• Building a Healthy Economy
• Developing a Spending Plan
• Working with Checking and Savings Accounts
• Understanding Credit and Your Credit Report
• Accessing Credit Part I and Accessing Credit Part II
This FREE two-day course is taught by a certified instructor and includes a free participant workbook, dinner and a raffle. Total class time is eight hours.
